Huskers hold first Friday Night Lights camp

LINCOLN, Neb. — Nebraska Football hosted its first of two Friday Night Lights camps Friday at Memorial Stadium.

The camp ran from 6-8 p.m. and was free and open to the public.

About 300 players from across the country, including a handful of local players, were at the camp.

The Husker coaches ran the players through different drills, giving coaches the opportunity to evaluate players in person and players the chance to impress the coaching staff.

The Huskers have one more Friday Night Lights camp scheduled for June 22.
