Easter eggs are to dye for! The tradition of dying Easter eggs has been around for a long time. The eggs were originally painted but now the popular thing to do is to dye them. Dying Easter eggs has become a family tradition in many households. Kids love creating their own masterpiece using almost any color to decorate the eggs. Sophomore Michaela Ostdiek says she is a happy person and likes her Easter eggs to be bright happy colors. She says the bright colors represent her personality. Sophomore Jessica Meis also said she likes the bright colors. She likes to decorate her Easter eggs with the colors blue, yellow, and pink.
Little do people know that actually all the colors of Easter have their own importance. The Easter color philosophy is quite interesting. The color you make your Easter eggs can tell you about your personality and what you want in life. The most significant colors of Easter are red and white. The color red symbolizes love and kindness. White is the Easter color which signifies grace and beauty. The most popular Easter colors are the bright ones. Green and orange represent hope and happiness. If your looking for a fresh beginning, pink is the color for you. Purple is a color of royalty and can bring wealth.
When you’re decorating your Easter eggs remember that the color you pick if more than a color. It can show others who you really are. So start over new, go pink.
