Western Nebraska authorities are trying to determine what killed a 2-year-old girl found dead this week in her home.

Keith County Attorney Blake Edwards says Morgan Dehning died Wednesday at her home in Brule, about 12 miles west of Ogallala.

Edwards says an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death; he expects results from the autopsy by early next week.
