Fireworks at Fonner Park will go off as usual, thanks to a new sponsor.

Internal Medical Associates will present the show this year.

"After learning that KSYZ had cut the display from this years budget, we got in touch with Pat Schroeder at the radio station to see how we could help keep the tradition going," said Heath Reinders of Internal Medical Associates in a statement.

Night Vision Fireworks will create the show this year, which will be fully choreographed to music.

Spectators are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and view the show from the Fonner Park infield on the south side of the lake.

Visitors may also view the show from a parked vehicle on the north side of the event center.

No personal fireworks are allowed on Fonner Park grounds.

Fireworks start at 10:00 p.m. on July 4th.

Meanwhile, the Grand Island Veterans Home has significantly reduced their fireworks display this year.

The home will have a small "neighborhood style" display at dusk.

The "Double Barrel Band" will also perform on the grounds from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
