Bye bye, Cornhusker Kickback. Hello, extra money for Tennessee and North Dakota.

Democrats issuing revisions Thursday to their health care overhaul bill decided to kill the extra $100 million in Medicaid funds for Nebraska that has become a symbol of backdoor deal making.

But the changes include extra money for hospitals in Tennessee that serve large numbers of low-income patients. And the Bank of North Dakota would continue being able to make student loans, though the bill would revamp the nation's student loan system to make the government the only lender.

The bill also keeps alive special spending for Louisiana, Connecticut and other states that was included in the original health bill that Congress may complete this weekend.

I can't believe you are all serious. Every politician makes deals!! Even your precious republicans! Except your republicans will wheel and deal for the guy you work for - not you. But I guess that's how it should be. Look at what the rich did for us last year.

If I understand this correctly, Sen. Nelson would not vote for the Bill back in December until he worked in the Cornhusker Kickback. Now that it's gone I guess we can naturally assume he's back to a "No" vote? Yeah, right. Geez, Ben...you're not even a good hypocrite.

So Ben , how's it going for you now ?

ROFL, Ben didn't even get a kiss for selling himself.

I hope back door Ben doesn't think he's off the hook for selling Nebraska out. I can't wait to vote him out.

Rest assured we will not forget that Kickback Nelson sold his vote and took a bribe.... We do not need crooked politicians and we will vote Kickback Nelson out in the next election.
