The open burn period is an intended time where owners or occupant of private residential property are allowed to burn their leaves and brush where no nuisance or hazard is created. Open fires should be constantly attended by a competent person until the fire is extinguished. It is also suggested that a water supply or other extinguishing equipment be readily available for use. No fire should be abandoned until it has been completely extinguished.
Dry and windy weather conditions my make it necessary to cancel. Please check the local media for current weather conditions or cancellation notices.
