Jobs, Development Conference to Focus on Rural Nebraska
Kearney, Neb. Organizers are planning a Rural Jobs, Rural Opportunities Conference for later this month in Kearney.

Organizers are planning a Rural Jobs, Rural Opportunities Conference for later this month in Kearney.
It is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 29 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.
Organizers hope to link financial and technical resources with entrepreneurs, business owners and community leaders interested in keeping and creating jobs.
Speakers will include Randy Cantrell, development specialist with the Nebraska Rural Initiative at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; and Brad Moline, president of Allo Communication.
There will be breakout sessions on financing, broadband, local foods, eco-tourism, renewable energy and local funding for economic development.
