Snow Sculpture Contest
The Hastings Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a contest for the town's best snow sculptures! To enter, mail a photo of your sculpture to the Hastings Parks & Recreation Department or email it to Jeff at jhassenstab@cityofhastings.org

Include your name(s) of the sculptor, address, and phone number. Prize categories include Most Creative and Biggest Sculpture. The contest runs from the first snow through March 31, 2011. Winners will be announced the first week of April 2011.

Holiday Cookie/Candy Exchange
Fee: $5
Date: December 1st
Time: 6pm-8:30 pm
Location: Hastings City Auditorium

Candy Cane Hunt
Ages: 0-10
Date: Saturday, December 4th
Time: 2pm sharp
Location: Chautauqua Park
*Please bring your own bag to put candy canes in.

K-2nd Grade Youth Basketball League
Fee: $35.00/player, $10.00 late fee after the deadline
Registration Deadline: December 17th
Start Date: January 8th
Game Times: 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm
Location: Hasting Middle School
*Kindergarten will be a separate league if there are enough kids to do so.

Santa Calls
Dates: December 14th or 16th
Calling Times: 6pm-8pm on those two days
Registration Deadline: December 16th at 5pm
