Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday in the third trial for a former Ravenna police officer accused of having sex with a teenage girl.
Fifty-four-year-old Larry Williams faces five counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of sexual assault of a child in Buffalo County District Court.
His first two trials -- in October 2007 and in January of this year -- ended in mistrials after jurors couldn't reach a decision.
Williams is accused of having a sexual relationship with a girl from 2002 to 2004 starting when the girl was 14.
Williams was a Ravenna police officer at the time of the alleged incidents. He's denied any wrongdoing.
