Grand Island The Islanders look to continue their success this season.

The Jeff Tomlin era is going strong in Grand Island.
Tomlin has led the Islanders to the playoffs in five of his six seasons as head coach.
"We expect our seniors to lead. We don't have one particular leader. We expect them all to lead. They're all doing a great job of it right now," Tomlin commented.
Grand Island returns six starters and will open the 2009 season with a rivalry game at home against Kearney, August 28.
