Flu prevention tip of the week from Dr. Joann Schaefer, Chief Medical Officer for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
“Stay home if you’re sick. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend that people with a flu-like illness stay home for at least 24 hours after they’re free of fever without the use of fever-reducing medication.”
