Brother and sister movie-making duo, Alec and Rachel Weaver, both high school juniors at Lincoln Christian School created an entertaining short video that teaches kids six steps to properly wash your hands.

How to Wash Your Hands the Right Way With Bubble Girl and Grimy Germ features original characters, Super Hero, Bubble Girl, played by Rachel Weaver and Villain, Grimy Germ, played by Alec Weaver.

The team developed the video as a community service project. The video will be shown at Lincoln Christian School and shared around the community at various pediatrician offices, daycares, and elementary schools. After posting the video to Facebook and YouTube, the video has been featured in schools beyond Nebraska, across the nation including California, Texas and New York.

Alec and Rachel want schools to use the video and adopt it as a service project and encourage students to share it with their communities since small children are especially at risk to the H1N1 virus and health officials advise that proper hand-washing is one of the best forms of prevention.
