Russell (Russ) Gronewold is the new chief financial officer (CFO) of BryanLGH Health System. A native of Adams, Neb., he holds a bachelor of arts in business administration from Midland Lutheran College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

“Russ Gronewold brings outstanding credentials and a wealth of experience to his new role at BryanLGH,” said Kim Russel, president and chief executive officer of BryanLGH Health System.

Prior to entering the healthcare field, Gronewold was a CPA with Arthur Andersen and an associate professor of business at Midland Lutheran College.

Gronewold most recently worked at Alegent Health, including as its vice president of business development. His other positions at Alegent included CFO of Mercy Hospital and CFO of Midlands Hospital. Prior to that he was COO at Immanuel Health System.
