In 2002 a team from St. Mark's United Methodist Church went to Reynosa Mexico on a medical mission trip. That trip planted the seed for Clinic with a Heart and affirmed what a great difference medical volunteers can make.

Since 1971, Doctors without Borders has been providing medical aid aid in nearly 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe. The organization is committed to bringing quality medical care to people caught in crisis regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation.

Clinic with a Heart provides basic medical care and medication assistance through seven free clinics each month. Care is provided to residents of Lincoln and surrounding communities who have uncounted financial, legal, language, awareness or other barriers to receiving healthcare.
