Lottery officials are waiting for the winner of a $1 million Mega Millions ticket bought in eastern Nebraska's Columbus to come forward.

Mega Millions lottery ticket sold at the Corner Stop convenience matched all five white ball numbers, but missed the Mega Ball number of 7 that would have meant a share of the $636 million Mega Millions jackpot.

Two tickets sold in California and Georgia matched all six numbers to split the $636 million Mega Millions jackpot, the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

Corner Stop owner Jed Brunken says the $1 million prize is the largest amount any lottery ticket sold at his store.
