Members of the 10/11 News Team rang bells for the Salvation Army Thursday around the state, from North Platte, to Grand Island, to Lincoln.

At the Hyvee store at 50th and O Streets in Lincoln, there was free hot chocolate and cookies for anyone who stopped by to drop change or cash into the red kettle.

10/11 staff sang carols and invited anyone and everyone out to help them sing.

So far, the Salvation Army says that is behind it's fundraising goal for the year.
