We have learned from Lancaster County Sergeant Jeff Bliemeister that the two deputies put on paid leave after that deadly crash have been reinstated .
Originally, Sheriff Terry Wagner put the men on leave pending an internal investigation, but we still have yet to confirm if that investigation has concluded.
Investigators say, last Monday, Deputy Ronald Boden and Sergeant Thomas Brookhouser were chasing 17-year-old Damon Wilson after his mother called 911 alleging Wilson threatened her and her daughter with a machete.
After a high-speed chase into Seward County, Wilson's car hit a truck nearly head on.
Wilson died at the scene and the two authorities were put on leave pending an internal investigation.
Investigators will still conduct a grand jury investigation into the chase and the crash to determine if the situation was handled properly.

Welcome back gentlemen. Thank you for keeping us safe.
Welcome back deputies thank you for dealing with this nonsense. You acted accordingly and shouldn't have undergone such disrespect but unfortunately in this day and time this happens for everything.
Best of luck to them!! Glad to have them back, and doing what they are suppose to do, protect people. Be careful..I am proud of both of you, and all law enforcement concerned!!
There is a time and a place for everything. Good to have the officers back.
