Lincoln Police are looking for three men they say beat and tried to rob a Lincoln teen.

The 17-year-old was walking near 27th and Starr street just before 8:30 Sunday night when three men approached him and asked if he knew where they could get some marijuana.

He told them no and walked away.

That's when police say one of the suspects hit the teen in the head with a pistol and the other two hit and kicked him.

They reached into his pockets but didn't take anything. Police say they ran off when they saw headlights turn in their direction.

The suspects are described as three light skinned black or Hispanic men, in their 20's, 5'8" and 180 pounds.
