2 Dead, 1 Hospitalized in Alliance

Police say two people have been stabbed to death in an Alliance home in western Nebraska, and another man suffering stab wounds has been flown to a Denver hospital.

Alliance Police Chief John Kiss says police were called to the home on the east side of town around 7:15 a.m. Saturday. Police found the bodies of a 22-year-old Alliance woman and a 42-year-old Scottsbluff man. Another man, a 25-year-old who lived in the house, was found still alive but critically wounded. He was taken to local hospital before being flown to Denver.

Police are not yet releasing their names.

Kiss said no arrests have been made, but said the hospitalized man is considered a person of interest in the stabbings.

Autopsies are planned Monday for the two found dead.
