College Student Stabbed More Than 50 Times

An autopsy Sunday showed that a Chadron State College student died as a result of being stabbed more than 50 times.
Dawes County authorities say 22-year-old Kenneth Pfeiffer of Sebastian, Fla., was murdered by his roommate, Joseph Hotz.
Chadron police found Pfeiffer's body in the roommates' off-campus home on Friday. The 25-year-old Hotz, of Rushville, was arrested after a chase. Dawes County Attorney Vance Haug plans to file formal charges, including first-degree murder, against Hotz on Monday.
Hotz, whose bail was set at $2 million, is being held at the county jail.
