Man Life-Flighted to Hospital After Accident

The Gage County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two vehicle accident that happened Tuesday morning, just west of Filley on U.S. Highway 4 near East Scott Road.
Thirty-eight-year-old Patrick Barker of Liberty, Nebraska lost control of the car he was driving on Highway 4 and it collided with a car driven by 62-year old Gayle Lang of Pawnee City.
Both individuals were life-flighted to Bryan LGH West in Lincoln with injuries sustained in the crash. Barker, who was transferred to Bryan LGH East, is listed in critical condition and Lang is listed in fair condition at Bryan LGH West.
