A semitrailer crash in south-central Nebraska leaves one man dead.
Gosper County Sheriff's officials say the crash happened early Tuesday morning when 40-year-old Michael Thompson's semi left Highway 283 north of Elwood, rolled and hit a utility pole.
Investigators say Thompson, of Bayard, died at the scene.
