Tips for Choosing an Antenna for the DTV Transition

Monday night is D-Day, when television stations across the country make their switch to digital television. But, besides hooking up a converter box, there's one more step people need to remember - the antenna.
Terra Hall: What are the basics as far as antennas go?
Lucas Malmkar, Ernies in Ceresco: The basics are deciding if you need an outdoor antenna or an amplified antenna.
Terra: If you pay more are you getting more for your money:
Lucas: Definitely, yes. In most cases, you are going to get a better amplification with a higher cost antenna.
Terra: What about people who have an antenna on their roof. What should they do?
Lucas: They may have to re-aim their antenna.

I have the dtv converter box and live just up the street from 10/11. When the transition took place, the signal is completely gone. I had the dtv box since last fall, signal would cut out with the weather. How do I get this fixed? I want to watch my cbs shows.
