Another storm system will bring rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow to Nebraska Saturday night through Sunday morning.

Another storm system will bring rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow to Nebraska Saturday night through Sunday morning. For the north central and northeastern part of the state, the precipitation will mainly fall as snow. Some freezing drizzle or freezing rain could occur at times. For those in southeast and south central Nebraska, it will mainly be rain or freezing rain. An isolated thunderstorm can't be ruled out. Sleet and snow could mix in overnight.

Snowfall accumulations are expected to reach 3 to 8 inches in north central Nebraska with 1 to 3 inches possible in the northeast. The south central and southeastern part of the state could see an inch or less. Ice accumulations of one tenth of an inch or less could occur across portions of central and eastern Nebraska as well.

The following warnings and advisories have been issued by the National Weather Service for Nebraska:

***WINTER STORM WARNING in effect for portions of north central and northeastern Nebraska until 10 am Sunday morning. Ainsworth, O'Neill, Spencer, Springview, Neligh and Pierce are included in the warning.***

***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect for portions of central and eastern Nebraska until 10 am Sunday morning. Lincoln, Omaha, Seward, Norfolk, Columbus, Broken Bow and North Platte are included in the advisory.***

***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect for portions of central Nebraska until 7 am Sunday morning. Grand Island, Kearney, Lexington York and Ord are included in the advisory.***

Be careful if you will be travelling Saturday night or Sunday morning. Slippery roads, bridges, overpasses, sidewalks and parking lots as well as limited visibilities are possible.
