The husband of a missing Nebraska woman faces up to 55 years in prison on sex and drug charges unrelated to her disappearance.

William Kelley Jr. pleaded guilty to two counts each of intentional child abuse and being a felon in possession of firearm and one count of falsifying a handgun application on Thursday in Gage County District Court. In exchange, other charges were dropped.

Sentencing for the 38-year-old from rural Filley is scheduled for June 4.

The charges against Kelley stem from two separate incidents. In one, authorities said Kelley sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl. In the other, he's accused of growing marijuana and keeping guns at his home.

Kelley's wife, Ann Marie Kelley, has been missing since April 15.
