A Butler County sheriff's deputy who resigned after being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving has been arrested again.
The Polk County sheriff's office says 37-year-old Michael Stark was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of DUI.
He was pulled over on Highways 81/92 between Shelby and Osceola.
The arrest came less than two weeks after Stark was arrested by the Nebraska State Patrol.
On March 6, the patrol says, a trooper found Stark in the driver's seat of a pickup in a Bellwood driveway. He failed a sobriety test.
Stark was placed on administrative leave following the first arrest, but he's since resigned.
An arraignment in the first incident is scheduled for April 2.
