State officials want Nebraskans to help update the state's tourism plan.

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development's Travel and Tourism Division will be gathering input during two rounds of meetings. The first round will be held between April 21 and October 28.

All meetings are open to the public, and registration is not required.

Among the goals is to take inventory of existing tourism programs across the state and identify new possibilities.

The 14 meetings will be held in Chadron, Gering, McCook, North Platte, Valentine, Broken Bow, Hastings, Kearney, South Sioux City, Columbus, York, Nebraska City, Omaha and Lincoln.

For dates and times of the meetings, contact Michael Collins at 402-471-3795 or visit www.visitnebraska.gov.
