The National Weather Service has confirmed that tornadoes touched down in some areas of Eastern Nebraska last night.
10/11 followed the Cass County Emergency Management Agency and National Weather Service personnel who were moving across the county assessing the storm damage.
When we met up with the crews, they were examining the home of some residents in Eagle who said their garage was blown away.
The crews took into account the debris and how far it traveled to determine that by the damage done to the home that either an F0 or F1 tornando blew through Eagle, Nebraska.
Residents in Eagle, located just east of Lincoln and in Martell just southwest of Lincoln, found themselves rebuilding and salvaging what they could for the most part of the day.
Sharon Egger, of Martell, says her $120,000 sprayer and $40,000 corn picker were found buried under a caved roof.
The Egger's farmstead narrowly escaped the path of the tornado that devestated hallam nearly 5 years ago.
They say they are feeling fortunate their home is still standing after yesterdays storm.
