The University of Nebraska at Omaha is recognizing World AIDS Day with a noon luncheon and free testing Monday.
The event is sponsored by the UNO Gay and Lesbian Organization and Student Health Services. It features a speaker from the Nebraska AIDS Project, a community based organization that has provided AIDS education and services since 1984.
Following the luncheon, free and confidential HIV testing and counseling will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
The testing will provide results within 20 minutes.
