About 20 Lincoln Public School students are being "green" and learning at the same time.
Thursday, Neighborworks Lincoln dedicated it's 23rd student built home. The house was part of a Lincoln High and Bryan Learning Center school project in a joint partnership with Skyline Homes.
Supervisors say this house is unique because it's five-star energy certified, complete with an eco-friendly geothermal heating and cooling system.
"We framed all the walls, we did the flooring, the roofing, all the plywood, we built the garage ourselves," said Paige Gall who attends Bryan Learning Center in Lincoln. "I want to come back next semester!"
The program began in 1989. Since then more than 350 students have participated.
A family bought the home Thursday morning.
