County Gets US Grant for Museum
Falls City, NE A federal grant of more than $61,000 will help the Richardson County Historical Society build a museum in southeast Nebraska's Falls City.

A federal grant of more than $61,000 will help the Richardson County Historical Society build a museum in southeast Nebraska's Falls City.
The grant was awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development program.
The society will add more than $117,000 to help build the museum, which will include agricultural artifacts from the area.

I am looking for historical information about Verdon, Nebraska where my paternal grandmother was born at the end of the 19th century. A museum would be a wonderful asset to the community.
