60 Warrants Served in Special Detail
Lincoln Lincoln officers served 60 warrants during a special patrol aimed at reducing the number of outstanding warrants in the Capital City.

Lincoln officers served 60 warrants during a special patrol aimed at reducing the number of outstanding warrants in the Capital City.
Officer Katie Flood said members of the Southwest, Southeast, Northwest, SWAT and Canine teams combined during the special enforcement.
Flood said there are 9,600 outstanding warrants in Lincoln and Lancaster County. The officers made as many contacts as possible, attempting to serve 265 warrants and successfully serving 60.
Other officers participated in a saturation detail patrolling specific areas of southwest Lincoln.
Flood said those officers issued 43 traffic citations and 61 warnings along with 9 narcotic citations and 9 misdemeanor citations including MIP, open container, false information and indecent exposure.
