Kick up your boots and help find a cure for cancer at this year's Cattlemen's Ball near Doniphan.

The event, on June 6, raises money for cancer research and health care organizations in Nebraska.

The 11th annual ball features a live concert from country crooner Craig Morgan, a prime rib dinner and a post concert dance.

Wine tasting, a casino and silent auction - featuring signed boots from Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton and Larry the Cable Guy - are also part of Saturday's festivities which begin at 1 p.m.

Tickets range from $65 a piece to $600 for "Trail Boss" tickets for two people. The Trail Boss price includes a Friday evening social, Saturday morning reception and brunch along with the main events Saturday.

“This is the first time the Cattlemen’s Ball has been in central Nebraska and we’re putting on a major party,” said event co-chair Deanna Bosselman. “People are realizing just how big this event really is - and how much fun, food and music they can have while supporting cancer research."
