Lancaster County Sheriff Deputies responded to a failed Molotov cocktail at a storage unit in Waverly Saturday morning similar to incidents in Lincoln.

Sheriff Terry Wagner said deputies found a beer bottle with gasoline and a torn piece a t-shirt placed into an electrical box at a storage unit.

The bottle never broke, but there was $75 in damage done to the storage unit. Lincoln police have responded to several Molotov cocktail incidents in the last two weeks. Wagner didn't know if this attack was an isolated copycat or tied in with the other incidents.
