Dozens of people from all over the world are now United States citizens.

Homestead National Monument of America hosted a United States Citizenship and Naturalization Ceremony Sunday on Flag Day.

Homestead National Monument was a significant place to host the event.

According to Superintendent Mark Engler, The Homestead Act of 1862 brought millions of people to the United States to become citizens and have a chance to make a better life for themselves and their children.
