Just in time for Father's Day, a celebrity is in town teaching people how to be better puppy parents.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes joined their human companions at Camp Bow Wow at 49th and Old Cheney Road Sunday, and listened to tips from world renouned dog trainer Joel Silverman.

Silverman hosts Animal Planet's "Good Dog U" and is in Lincoln promoting his new book on training your dog.

"If you don't follow certain directions and really take the time to get to know your pet, you make training so much more difficult," said Silverman.
