Omaha police are questioning two persons of interest in a crash that killed a 35-year-old Bellevue woman Monday night. The accident was a hit-and-run.
Police identified the victim Tuesday as Ana Rodriguez-Delopez-Cardenas. She was hit by a silver Mazda at about 8:15 p.m. Monday while getting into her car at 24th and E St.
Police say a witness followed the Mazda when it fled the scene and got a license plate number before going back to check on Cardenas.
Police were able to track down the car, finding it in a parking lot near 39th and Q St. around 11:15 p.m. They are now questioning two persons of interest, but have not made any arrests.
