Fireworks May Have Caused Fire

A Sunday fire may have been caused by fireworks.
Sheriff Terry Wagner says the owner of Purbaugh Masonry was cleaning up trash and fireworks litter at 9500 South 56th street, putting the waste in the back of his dump truck, covering it with burlap.
A short time later, Wagner says the man smelled smoke, and discovered the truck fully engulfed in flames, causing $4,000 damage.
The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
