A Lincoln man is recovering, after police say he was stabbed by another.

Officer Katie Flood said the incident happened around 12:15 Thursday morning at 4915 Huntington Avenue.

Flood said there was a party on the second floor of the apartment building and someone spilled beer on a woman on the first floor. Flood said a man from the first floor confronted someone on the second and they had a discussion and went their separate ways. However several people at the party began arguing over who actually spilled the beer.

Eventually Flood said Michael Williams pulled a knife on a 39 year old and stabbed him once in the arm. The victim recieved stitches at Bryan LGH West. Williams was arrested from 2nd degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Another man was cited and released for punchin Williams during the fight.
