A Nebraska City man accused of killing his girlfriend appeared in court Friday.
Court records show that Jeremy Haag, who is accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend June 5 in Nebraska City, waived his preliminary hearing Friday in Otoe County Court.
The 30-year old Haag will now be arraigned at a later date in Otoe County District Court. He was formally charged with First Degree Murder in connection with the death of 27-year old Adessa Esser. Haag & Esser had been caring for seven children at their home in Nebraska City.
