Fairbury teen is in critical condition in Lincoln Hospital after a one vehicle accident.
According to Jefferson County Sheriff's office press release. 18 year old Scott K. Burkitt was driving a 1992 Honda Accord Friday evening going eastbound on U.S. 136 near 577th Avenue.
Release indicates the car went into the right ditch, ramped off of a cross street, 577th Avenue, then landed in the ditch on the other side of it.
Authorities shut down U.S. 136 and Burkitt was flown to Bryan LGH Medical Center West. He remains in critical condition Saturday night
