Severe weather rolled through parts of Nebraska Wednesday night causing significant damage in Buffalo and Valley counties.
Buffalo County emergency management director Darrin Lewis says there's been unconfirmed reports of tornadic activity in the Kearney area and a home about 15 miles west of Kearney received extensive damage. Lewis also says that the family's garage was literally picked up and put a football field away.
He also says two rollover accidents believed to be caused by the weather have been cleaned up and no injuries have been reported.
Meanwhile in Valley county, Emergency Management director Ryan Simpson says the eastern half of the county suffered extensive crop damage from heavy rain and winds driving hail into fields. Simpson also says he received reports of flooding in the northeastern part of Valley County.
