After literally being cut out of his car, a 30-year-old Hickman man is in critical condition following a crash around 6 p.m. Friday.

Lancaster County Sheriff's deputies say a pickup driver on Rokeby Rd. t-boned a Pontiac Trans Am on HWY 77 in the driver's side door.

Rescue crews rushed the Pontiac's driver, Raymond Pumel, to Bryan LGH West.

The man's brother told 10/11 doctors do expect Pumel to live.

The pickup driver, Nicholas Rezac of rural Lincoln was not injured. Deputies cited 22-year-old Rezac for careless driving.
