The Nemaha County Sheriff's office says as of 10 p.m. Sunday, power to Auburn has been mostly restored.

Officials say trees took out some power lines around 5:00 p.m.

High winds uprooted several large trees in Auburn. Officials say some were blocking roadways. All the limbs that fell created quite a scattered mess of debris.

Traffic lights also went out at an intersection in the town. Crews are still working to restore power in nearby communities.
