Twenty-four Nebraska nursing homes are on a "watch list" warning of questionable care created by a national consumers group.
The Consumers Union used state inspection data to identify the homes.
Of Nebraska's 24, seven have been on the list the past three years it has been compiled.
Pat Snyder of the Nebraska Health Care Association cautions that such reports often use generic information that can be misleading.
The seven on the list the three years it has been compiled include Homestead Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln; Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook; Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala; Beverly Healthcare in Scottsbluff; Maple Crest Care Center in Omaha; Saunders County Community Hospital L.T.C. in Wahoo; and Jefferson Community Health Care in Fairbury.
