Omaha television station KETV is citing two anonymous sources close to the Nebraska football program as saying a players' meeting Monday included discussion of possibly not practicing, and even a potential boycott of the Dec. 29 Alamo Bowl against Michigan State.

The television station says players are frustrated over the secrecy of the search for a new head coach after Frank Solich was fired two weeks ago.

The station also reports the sources saying that a large number of players, more than 20, indicated they would leave Nebraska if interim head coach Bo Pelini is not named head coach.

Freshman linebacker Bo Ruud told the Lincoln Journal Star, meanwhile, that they players met and had some concerns that they planned to keep private for right now.
