College Senior Liz Garber says she's been battling the flu since finals week began, the combination of stress and studying contributing to a mild case of the flu.
UNL health center doctors say Liz is not alone. They say many students will trade sleep for studying this time of year and the results can lead to cases of the flu.
Doctors also recommend students not resort to all night studying binges. Health Center Director Jim Guest says studies show students who studied all night had the same reaction time as students who had a blood-alcohol level of .11.
