Pederson's One Year Anniversary

It was one year ago today that the former athlectic director of the University of Pittsburg, Steve Pederson, joined the UNL faculty.

The former UNL student had been Pitts director for five and a half years before taking the place of Bill Byrne.

Pederson, 45, said at the time he was hired, " We have great experiences at Pitt, but this is a special place for me, and ultimatley in my heart I knew this is where I want to be."

Fans refelcting on his year at Nebraska had mixed emotions, but the majority agreed that one year is too early to evaluate his performance.
