Nebraska quarterback Joe Dailey says he is excited about the prospects of running the West Coast offense new Husker coach Bill Callahan says he will bring to Lincoln.

Following a meeting of players and their new coach, Dailey said "I can run, but I can throw, too, so this is something that is going to fit me fine."

He said Callahan appears to be the right man for the job.

Callahan was introduced as the new coach by athletic director Steve Pederson Friday afternoon.

Dailey said, "Mr. Pederson knows what he is doing. If he doesn't, he's going to lose his job, too."
