A three-judge panel has been named to decide the fate of one of four men accused of killing five people at a Norfolk bank.

Judges Jeffre Cheuvront of Lincoln, Kristine Cecava of Sidney and Robert Ensz of Wayne will preside over the sentencing of Jorge Galindo.

He was convicted last month of five counts of first-degree murder.

The judges will decide if he gets life in prison or death at a sentencing hearing scheduled to begin June 21st.

Galindo, Gabriel Rodriguez, Jose Sandoval, and Erick Vela are accused in the bank slayings on Sept. 26, 2002.

A jury has found that Galindo's acts qualify for the death penalty.

The three-judge panel will render the final decision.

Ensz presided at Galindo's trial.

Nebraska Supreme Court Chief Justice John Hendry chose the panel at random.
